Educational Qualification for UGC NET June 2024 Exam

  • OBC-NCL/SC/ST/PwD/Third gender: 50%

• Ph.D. holders who completed their Master’s before September 19th, 1991, receive a 5% relaxation in the minimum marks requirement (50% eligibility).
• Candidates with a 4-year bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 75% marks (or equivalent grade) are eligible to appear for NET. However, they qualify only for JRF and Ph.D. admission, not for Assistant Professor positions.
• Final-year students of a 4-year bachelor’s program can apply provisionally, but they must complete their degree within the specified timelines based on their qualification.
